Fig Tree School
In 2008 Birgit came to see the Fig Tree Home, where the late Dixon had made a name for himself teaching all ages.

It was Birgits hope to be able to write Dixons story. The whole story.

So late 2008 she decided to go visit the late Dixons home, to get a hold an all the details.

The old mother and the old son met under the shade of the Fig Tree, and stories where told.

The most remarkable story, was that of Dixons unknown first born: Andromeda.

The Father of Andromeda

The result of Birgits work with a thousand pages of handwritten letters from the late Dixon over a period of three decades, is the book called: The Father of Andromeda.

It is the story of Dixons unforgettable odyssey from the heart of Africa into the soul of the woman he has always loved as his mother.
